Mar 14, 2015 · Very interesting, tried removing and cleaning the egr valve myself on my 2.0 TDCI 140 but couldn't manage to get it off. Funnily enough now I find my car feels a bit lumpy while driving and seems to have a slight hesitation between 1000 and 2000rpm sometimes so I brought it to a Ford garage today (as it's still under warranty) and they think the egr valve needs replacing.

May 10, 2018 · It is a bit confusing, as some videos on youtube describe same noise as whine, and some as whistle. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner, and starts as distant police siren. When the car is stationary it only occurs at 3000 rpm. When driving, 2000 rpm and even earlier when driving uphill. There is no smoke or power loss.

Mar 20, 2021 · I retrofitted TPMS sensors to my Mondeo Mk4.5 and installed conversmod TPMS patch. Went for 40 km drive, after about 20 km display popped up a message saying TPMS sensors not detected. Carried on for another 20 km and no change. Convers display just shows _._ bar at each wheel position.

Jan 15, 2013 · The bonet and dash vibrate a bit when idle but not when driving, there is no vibration in the clutch pedal when idle or revving the engine, there are no noises and the gear changes are quite smooth. the vibration is noticable but not too much. There are no vibrations in the lower gears either.

Jan 27, 2014 · The battery had a bad cell. And the car was shutting things down. Radio only lasted 10 mins instead of an hour. Mirrors stopped folding in. Replaced the battery and they worked. Problem he has now his log book has no radio code in it. So he can't use the radio.
Aug 28, 2017 · 2 Turn ignition to position 2 (headlights will come on) 3 Switch REAR fog light on and off 5 times. 4 Switch HAZARD lights on and off 3 times ( battery light should flash 3 times within next 15 seconds and may then go off altogether for a few seconds) 5 Problem should be solved. Nov 7, 2018 · not sure if anyone has experienced this is issue but any info would be greatly appreciated, my mondeo mk 4 titanium x sport's dash has stoped working my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and engine temp has stopped but everything else works as it should including cruise control etc, there is no faults coming up either. Oct 12, 2016 · Furthermore the reverse camera doesn't show and the parking sensors don't work. There aren't any dings or noises as there usually is. Took the battery off for half hour, left the seat disconnected, and still exactly the same after reconnecting the battery (leaving the seat unplugged).

It stops working for a day or so then starts working fine. Lights work fine from hazard switch. Replaced the indicator stalk and it didn't make any difference.
